Activities

Uluramaya Retreat is conveniently located to a variety of activities.

  • Sue facilitates a regular Play with Clay class for the local community at Uluramaya Retreat. A clay class can be arranged during your stay, so if you'd like to unleash your inner sculptor, please advise on booking!
  • Enjoy a camp fire and authentic billy tea and damper (by prior arrangement).
  • Bush Walking Enjoy a leisurely 800 meter bush walk down through our property to Fern Gully, where we have built a bush shelter for our guests to enjoy the amazing eucalypt forest. Don't be too afraid of taking the trek, as we have installed seats to rest on the way back up :) Comfortable walking shoes are recommended if you wish to do some bush walking.

For the more experienced bush walkers, the surrounding National Parks and forests can provide many trails.

Climb a Glass House Mountain! Mt Beerburrum has a sealed track to the top, while Mt Ngungun provides a reasonably easy climb for most people. Only consider Mt Beerwah or Tibrogargan if you are an experienced climber and be aware these tracks sometimes are closed in certain weather conditions.
